not as comfortable as the original version, but not bad.This updated version isn't QUITE as comfortable as the original version, but it's not bad. The upper of the original version of this style was made in suede, which was softer than the smooth leather it is now made from (in combo with stretch fabric on both versions); had a suede insole, which was also softer than the fabric insole of this current version; and the toe thong was rounded - no seam against the V between the big toe and second toe, like this updated version has.
Still, it's more comfortable than a lot of the newer styles Merrell is selling, so I figured I'd better get this one while it's still available. I'm guessing the 3 "updates" make for a less expensive shoe to make.....READ MORE REVIEW
